UpDatE nOveMBeR 2013

So, I am going to give a quick recap of the past year!

Yogurt Your Weigh has been in business for a little over a year
Leyton turned 5 in September. She is 38" tall and weighs 36 pounds ( tall and skinny). She was diagnosed with a fever disorder, PFAPA, and had her tonsil and adenoids out last March. She has been fever free since then!
Anniston is now almost 18 months old. She has 14 teeth, weighs 21 pounds, and is definately my wild and crazy child!  She says mama, dada, sissy, bye bye, hi, mazie, aha (chad's dad), and a few others at random times!  She can have a really bad temper and definately acts like a middle child!
With that being said.....Anniston is going to be a middle child. We found out in October, we are expecting our 3rd next June!

working my way up

I am beyond ecstatic!!! I have signed my very first jeweler!!!! WOW I really thought I would never say that! Congratulations, Tara Hite, your life is getting ready to change drastically for the good....I promise!!!  I have spent the last two days getting everything ready for her training.  I am normally a very organized person, but didn't realize how unorganized I have been lately until I started getting things ready for tomorrow night! This has definately helped me get my stuff back in gear as well!!!!!  I am more than excited for her to get started and can't wait to give her everything I have learned!!!!  I have goals I have set within myself, and I know that with enough effort I will suceed!!!!

a day in history

I have been going over the Kentucky Lake bridge since I was only a couple of months old!  There have been numerous times I can remember thinking what would we do if something happened to the bridge while driving across it!!!! That is something I won't have to worry about anymore. Last night (January 26), a barge named the Delta Mariner hit the bridge and part of the middle collapsed!!! For the people of western Kentucky, this is definately one of those days we won't forget!!!!  Fortunately, noone was injured!!!!

On another note....I just returned home from Ohio where I was at the Premier Designs Regional Rally!!!!!  Every time I am with all these wonderful ladies, I feel like I get a boost of energy regarding my business! There is truly nothing like being a jewelry lady! I get so many opportunities like working from home, being able to stay with Leyton and enjoy time with her, meeting new people, and traveling! I am involved in a debt free company that wants me to succed as much as I want to!!!! I can't wait to show the jewelry this weekend at my first shows of 2012!

a clean sweep

I have decided that I am not making a new years resolution this year, but more of some goals! One of these being to do a better job with my blog.  I have definately not kept up with it like I should have and if I continue like this, I will look back one day and be mad at myself for not doing better! I not only want to include more about my family, but more about my business as well.

While we are on the subject of a new year and some resolutions or goals....a lot of people make a committment to go on a cleaning spree. I love to get in a closet or drawer and clean it out....yes, i know i can be a bit OCD at times!!!  There is a great feeling of joy I get when I walk into a disaster area and come out with a complete project!  It is the same with a 'business. We keep things around that clutter it up and drag us down. Maybe it is a regret, or maybe it is something that we have been meaning to do and keep putting it off for various reasons. It is time to step up and do a clean sweep of our home, family, life, or in my case Premier!

There are things in the corner of our "closet" that we don't want to deal with.
*hurts
*disappointments
*goals we didn't meet
*cancelled shows
*attitudes
*mistakes
*promises we didn't keep
*unkind words

We can all make a long list of  "junk" that is in our "closet"!  If your "close"t isn't what you want it to be, then it is time to get busy!  Let's pitch all our junk and make room for new goals and opportunities!!!
I know it is time for me to step up and book more shows and do a better job with my phone calls!

What is your clean sweep?!?!?!

life changing monents

so, it is so hard to believe that only 3 short years aog my life changed so dramatically!  it feels like it was just yesterday that we welcomed the most precious, perfect baby girl into the world. " our world!!" sometimes, i just stop and wonder what i did to deserve her.  i sit and think of all the things in my past that my husband and i have done that were unpleasing to God and he still put us in control over this miracle! she is absolutely the light of my life and for those of you that know her......she truly does shine!!!! so, as i sit here and watch her, i am thinking that this time three years ago i was laying in the delievery room......i thought i was so calm at the time and i guess i was compared to the feelings of overwhelming emothion, nervousness and anxiety that followed after she was born!  so i just want to say a big thank you to God for letting me be this perfect little angels mother and a really big happy birthday to miss leyton jo!!!!!!! mommy loves you forever and always!!!!!
